And…we’re off!

I have to laugh at myself as I’ve made such a big deal of the “journey with no return date!” Who knows… could be a week, a month, or a year of travel.  Anyway, it’s here and I’m extremely excited for the days ahead.

Right out of the gate we saw a doe and her fawn (hiding but visible if you really search.

Having no schedule allows for plenty of unplanned stops. Oooh, did this water feel good on our feet or what?

Some of the sideline features were enough to turn around for...Grinch sitting on a dinosaur...a row of about 20 toilet planters and oh, so much more!

Ended the day at Dolly Copp Campground in the White Mountains National Park. (Forgot to utilize my brand-new senior citizen National Park card...oh well, next time.)

Veggie burgers and after driving only about 115 miles we were ready for bed.
