I love Vermont and have always thought that if it had an ocean I would live there. I knew that I’d want to spend more time at the end of my adventure so I did just that.
Jodie rented a car and met me at Barb’s. From there the two (well, three as Desi was with us) headed north to a hidden GEM of a campground in Jamaica Vermont. Jamaica State Park was one of my favorite campgrounds. Such peaceful sites that sit along a rambling river that runs along miles of hiking and biking trails. The river is peppered with waterfalls and hey, who doesn't love a waterfall! A campground that I will surely revisit . . . only for a longer period of time.
And what's a trip to Vermont without visiting family. . . again! Headed back to Jimmy & Robin's for more time by their wonderful fire pit, a visit with my niece Jenna and her babies, Riley and Bo.
Oh, sweet family...I can never get enough them and yes, another blessing is that I have such a close and loving family.
