We left our little haven at the Falls and headed into some of the most breathtaking landscape I've ever seen. Mountains, RIVERS, greenery, rolling hills. . .

I cannot express how many photos were not taken because I KNEW that what I was seeing/experiencing could not be captured—-that said here are a few photos that o hope share a bit of the experience ☀️

Holly’s new perch. Front seat made into a dog bed. Sorry Ginge, there’s a new navigator!

This is soooooo fascinating . . .

continental divide is a naturally occurring boundary or ridge separating a continent’s river systems. Each river system feeds into a distinct ocean basinbay, or sea.

Rivers that flow west of the continental divide will eventually find their way to the Pacific while river water that flows east of the continental divide make it to the Atlantic. AND the continental divide is NOT a straight line. It zig-zags. Most of the divide runs along the crest of the Rocky Mountains, through British Columbia and along the British Columbia–Alberta border in Canada, and through the states of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico in the United States.

We actually saw several markers for the divide -at one point it was at 8391 ft elevation!

Yup- Old Faithful and there are so many other geysers around this area. We found a back way in so didn’t need to work our way through the masses. Thank goodness
